Glen Ellyn Rotary Club Awards Scholarships
This spring, the Rotary Club of Glen Ellyn awarded $16,400 in ten college scholarships to students of Glenbard South and Glenbard West High Schools.
The club has awarded scholarships to area students every year for over thirty years.
This year’s recipients from Glenbard South High School were Molly Clark, Melanie Cosgrove, Brian Duffy, Amanda Fazzari and Viraj Sheth. The recipients from Glenbard West High School were Jon Adkins, Casey Curtis, Jordan Rush, Denise Umubyeyi and Hnin Zin.
The Rotary Club of Glen Ellyn is part of the 1.2 million members of Rotary International. In addition to scholarships, its members work on fundraising for international as well as Glen Ellyn and Wheaton area community service projects.

Friends Make Annual Contribution
The Friends of the Glen Ellyn Public Library presented Library Director
Dawn Bussey with their annual contribution which this year totaled $24,000
at the Library Board of Trustees meeting held June 21, 2010. These funds
will be used to purchase both youth and adult materials and to provide
transportation for the Bus to Books program.
